Hey everyone! I had the day off yesterday so I figured I’d put some actual clothes on and have my picture taken. This is a typical casual outfit for me: Jeans and t-shirt, a cardigan to stay warm, a comfy boyfriend coat and some ankle boots. As a matter of fact, I’m wearing a variation of this formula as I’m typing, haha.
This cardigan from Bershka (currently on sale for €33!) was such a neat find! I’m always in the market for a nice patterned cardigan/cover up but I’ve been very picky lately, considering I have a wardrobe full of clothes I don’t wear which is a dark spot on my conscience at the moment. I won’t even touch the subject of sustainable and fair fashion with a ten foot pole because I’m decked out in high street brands and taking a stance would be a little hypocritical, to say the least. Like a lot of people, I’m trying to scale down on “things” thus I’ll be selling some of my clothes. If you’re in or around Turnhout on Sunday November 29th, drop by Wollewei! Depending on how well that goes, I’m going to put up some items for sale online, or donate what’s left.
Mango boyfriend coat, Bershka ‘ethnic detail open jacket’, Esprit black silk blend t-shirt, & Other Stories “Triple Zip” bag, Mango mink suede ankle boots
After taking these pictures, we grabbed a quick bite at Falafel Tof, one of our favourite places for lunch, before heading off to visit our friends and their beautiful newborn baby boy. A welcome source of joy after the horrific events of the past weekend, which left me sad and quite frankly, dumbfounded at the simplistic conclusions some people draw from what has happened in Paris. I’m trying to take in as much information as possible, trying to understand what is going on because open mindedness is key. You can’t fight darkness with darkness.
Until next time,
Vicky
Super outfit, Vicky! We moeten nog eens afspreken.
Danku! En yes yes maar dan wel in januari want ik heb geen figuurlijke nagel om aan mijn gat te krabben momenteel 😀 😀
